Fair Usage Policy

This Fair Usage Policy (“Policy”) is established to ensure equitable access to system resources, prevent platform abuse, and uphold service quality for all users of our website, APIs, and digital infrastructure.

Purpose

This policy defines acceptable and responsible use of our services. It is designed to protect the integrity and performance of our systems, support optimal access for all clients, and prevent unfair or disruptive usage patterns. We aim to maintain a balanced and efficient ecosystem where no single user or client monopolizes resources at the expense of others.

Scope

This policy applies to all clients, merchants, partners, developers, or users who access or consume any services we provide. This includes, but is not limited to, API-based services for pay-in (collections), payout (disbursements), dashboard tools, backend integrations, and technical support infrastructure.

Acceptable Usage

All users are expected to use our services in accordance with the provisions outlined in their service-level agreement (SLA), contract, or platform terms of use. Acceptable usage includes:

  • Consuming API services within defined rate limits, concurrency thresholds, and transaction volumes as agreed in writing

  • Maintaining secure integration practices and not burdening the system with excessive or inefficient calls

  • Ensuring that your usage supports lawful activities and business use cases explicitly allowed by us

Prohibited Activities

The following behaviors are considered misuse of our systems and are strictly prohibited:

  • Excessive or disproportionate usage of APIs, bandwidth, or server resources that negatively impacts the experience of other users

  • Attempting to bypass rate limits, authentication protocols, or automated security mechanisms

  • Running high-frequency scripts, unauthorized bots, or traffic automation tools on our platform

  • Sharing or exposing API keys and access credentials to unauthorized third parties

  • Using services to process transactions related to fraudulent, unlawful, or restricted activities including money laundering, phishing, or unauthorized fund flows

Rate Limits and Monitoring

All API endpoints are subject to dynamic or fixed rate limits depending on the client’s account level or commercial plan. We reserve the right to modify rate limits in response to system capacity, misuse detection, or unexpected traffic spikes.

We deploy continuous monitoring tools and logging systems to track usage trends, identify anomalies, and flag potential abuse in real time. Usage that violates technical thresholds or triggers abuse filters may be subject to automated or manual throttling.

Consequences of Misuse

If we identify misuse or unfair consumption of our services, we reserve the right to take the following actions without prior notice, depending on severity:

  • Send formal warnings with technical recommendations for remediation

  • Temporarily throttle or suspend access to APIs or platform features

  • Permanently terminate the client’s account and restrict future access

  • Withhold or delay settlements in cases involving suspicious transactional behavior

  • Report fraudulent activity to appropriate authorities if required by law

Service Plan Customization and Exceptions

We understand that certain businesses may require high-volume or specialized access. Clients expecting usage beyond standard thresholds may contact us to explore enterprise-grade service plans, priority API lanes, or customized SLAs that align with their business needs.

Policy Updates

This Fair Usage Policy may be updated periodically in response to system updates, changes in regulations, client feedback, or platform scaling. We will communicate any major revisions to clients via email and publish the most current version on our website. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
